SEMI Announces Updates to its International Board of Directors

Five New Members Elected 

MILPITAS, Calif. – October 20, 2026 – SEMI, the industry association advancing the global semiconductor and electronics design and manufacturing supply chain, today announced updates to the SEMI International Board of Directors. 

SEMI welcomes the following newly elected members announced during the SEMI annual membership meeting on October 14, 2026, at SEMICON West: 

• Christophe Fouquet, President and CEO, ASML
• Jong W. Lee, CEO, Global Zeus Co., Ltd. 
• Heung Shig (Hank) Oh, Chairman, LOT Vacuum Co., Ltd. 
• David Reeder, President and CEO, Entegris
• Greg Smith, President and CEO, Teradyne

The following five board members have also been reelected:

• Kai Beckmann, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Electronics, Merck KGaA
• Chun Hyuk Lee, CEO and Chairman, Dongjin Semichem
• Benjamin Loh, Chairman of the Board, Comet AG 
• Daisuke Murata, President and CEO, Murata Machinery
• Kazuo Ushida, Chairman of the Board, Nikon Corporation

The 22 voting directors and 10 emeritus directors on the SEMI International Board represent companies from across the global microelectronics supply chain, positioning SEMI to best support innovation in all areas of the industry. 

SEMI directors are elected by the general membership as voting members of the Board and can serve a total of five three-year terms.
